Day 1

Nairobi — Lions at the city’s edge

Your journey begins the moment you land. An afternoon game drive through Nairobi National Park — lion, cheetah and giraffe moving against a skyline found nowhere else on earth.

Days 2–3

Samburu — Where the north begins

A scenic flight north crosses the equator. Samburu’s ochre terrain hosts reticulated giraffe, Grévy’s zebra and the elegant gerenuk — species found almost nowhere else.

Ol Pejeta — The world’s last white rhinos

Ol Pejeta holds the last two northern white rhinos on earth, protected around the clock. Standing in their presence carries a weight no photograph can convey.

Day 5

Lake Nakuru — Where the shore turns pink

Thousands of lesser flamingos line the alkaline shore at dawn. From Baboon Cliff, the full Rift Valley reveals itself.

Day 6

Hell’s Gate & Naivasha — Gorges and open water

Hell’s Gate is cycled, not driven — towering lava cliffs and geothermal gorges. The afternoon moves to Naivasha with a boat among hippo pods and flower farms visible from the water.

Masai Mara — Three days at Africa’s greatest stage

Three full days in the Mara. July–October: 1.5 million wildebeest crossing the Mara River. Year-round: the continent’s highest density of lion, leopard and cheetah.

Diani Beach — The Indian Ocean arrives

White coral sand, warm turquoise water. A boat excursion to Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park — coral gardens, sea turtles and spinner dolphins. Swahili seafood.

Lamu Island, UNESCO World Heritage, Kenya

Days 12–13

Lamu — An island where time moves differently

A UNESCO World Heritage island with no motor vehicles. Fourteen centuries of Swahili civilisation. An evening dhow sail as the sun descends over the channel.

Return — Lamu to Nairobi

A short flight returns you to Nairobi for onward international connections. The journey is complete. The memories are not.

Day 1

Nairobi — Arrival & first encounter

Transferred to your lodge on the edge of Nairobi National Park. An evening briefing with your personal guide sets the tone for seventeen days of considered, unhurried travel.

Days 2–3

Samburu — The wild north

The flight north traces the Rift Valley escarpment. Samburu’s arid landscape supports endemic species found nowhere else. Two full days of game drives and bush walks.

Day 4

Ol Pejeta — Conservation at the frontier

Big Five, the last northern white rhinos, and an optional private briefing with the conservancy’s conservation team for those with a deeper interest in Kenya’s wildlife protection.

Day 6

The Highland Estates — A day unlike any other

Private visits to Guja’s Coffee Farm and Fairview Estate trace Kenya AA from cherry to cup. The Limuru Tea & Herb Farm offers walking through emerald rows at altitude. The afternoon concludes at a highland winery producing wine at the equator.

Day 7

Lake Nakuru — The Rift Valley opens

From Baboon Cliff, Lake Nakuru’s alkaline expanse spreads below — flamingos on the shore, the Rift Valley escarpment framing the horizon. Black and white rhino roam freely.

Days 9–11

Masai Mara — Three days at the centre of the world

Three full days. Private vehicle from before dawn to late evening. Optional hot air balloon. Optional fly camping under the stars. A Masai village visit that goes beyond performance into genuine exchange.

Amboseli — Elephants below the mountain

Fourteen centuries of Swahili civilisation on an island with no roads. A guided walk through the old town, rooftop lunch, and a sunset dhow sail in absolute stillness.
